A fuller, richer style Chablis whilst maintaining classic Séguinot characteristics
A lean and flinty style that is a signature of the domaine. A clean chalky nose precedes a beguiling fresh hit of white nectarine and a crackle of citrus and minerality on the palate. The finish is clean, with pleasing steely acidity.
The vineyards of Maligny benefit from south-west exposure which brings considerable richness to the wines. The domaine has vineyards across all four appellations in the village; Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume and Chablis 1er Cru Homme Mort, producing very different styles, from steely and racy to powerful and rich.
Classic, cool fermentation in stainless steel at 15 - 18 degrees celsius.
Trout stuffed with fresh herbs and grilled on the barbecue.
