Shipped direct from Saint Tropez to Bakewell, Domaine Tropez was established in 1996 and comprises 50 hectares of AOC Côtes de Provence parcels. Following significant investments, including an ultra-modern cellar, it quickly became a standout in the appellation.
Located in a Mediterranean climate with diverse soils, Domaine Tropez emphasizes organic farming principles, limiting chemical use and employing certified organic fertilizers. Harvesting at low temperatures ensures elegant and complex rosés with distinctive pale colours.
Grown on hillsides with sandy soil. The grapes are harvested at their aromatic maturity and picked at night to preserve their freshness and aromas. Rolle (Vermentino) is used in the blend for aromatic lift
The process begins with crushing and total destemming of the grapes, followed by a gentle pressing at low temperatures. The must undergoes cold settling and then alcoholic fermentation in temperature-regulated tanks to preserve the delicate aromas. Finally, the wine ages on fine lees to enhance its complexity.
Simple grilled fresh fish and Mediterranean vegetables, also pairs well with dishes that have bolder and spicier flavours.
