Fresh strawberry and redcurrants aromas. On the palate there are ripe plum and cherry characters giving good weight, all balanced by juicy, crisp acidity.
Produced by the leading co-operative in the Monferrato hills of Piemonte. Their aim is to produce authentic, well priced still and sparkling wines sourcing grapes from local private growers and cooperatives. All aspects of production from grape selection through to vinification, maturation, blending and bottling are meticulously overseen by the winemaking team.
Produced from predominantly Barbera grapes, blended with a quantity of Pinot Nero, grown in the Monferrato hills of Piemonte.
Short pre-fermentation maceration on skins at a low temperature followed by gentle pressing. Fermented in stainless steel at low temperatures.
Great with tomato-based pasta and roast vegetable dishes.
